This week i was undertaking Bernina sewing machine repair and servicing in Cambridgeshire and Suffolk. My first call out was for an industrial Bernina 950 in Cambridge. The machine is being used by a professional seamstress and needed a service to ensure it was running well. I took off all the covers and the hook to check for timing and threads etc. Everything was cleaned and adjusted and oiled where necessary. I left it purring away nicely!
The next sewing machine was a Bernina Aurora 440. This machine just needed a general service and also a quick lesson for the user as she had lost confidence in threading it up. All panels were removed and the machine checked over and oiled etc. A quick lesson on how to thread the machine and my client was up and running again!
