I recently had a Bernina Virtuosa 155 sewing machine in the workshop for a service. These are great and very reliable machines. It was in for just a general service. It had all the usual things checked like timing, needlebar height, feed dog sync , check spring timing etc. And all finished off with a good clean and oil!

I am now in self-isolation, how do I remove the plastic housing around the arm?
Hi Gary,
There is a screw underneath it which is accessible through the base plate. When this has been undone you will then need to pull off the bobbin door. When this has been removed the cover will slide off although it can be quite stiff.
